Graphic Era Deemed to be University was established in 1996 as the Graphic Era Institute of Technology (GEIT). The Graphic Era Dehradun is approved by UGC, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the Government of India, and AICTE. The deemed-to-be university is accredited with A+ Grade by NAAC. The Graphic Era University Dehradun offers UG, PG, certificate, and other courses to students across Engineering, Management, and various other streams. The GEU campus provides the LCD projector equipped classrooms, central library with 200 seats, laboratories, workshops, wi-fi internet, computer centre, conference hall, sports facility, canteen, separated hostels for boys & girls, health care facility, transportation, banking & ATM facility and guest house.
Activities
The GEU campus organizes various national conferences, workshops and seminars. The university conducts scholarship programmes and research publication programmes. The students run the clubs and committees for various co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

The GEU campus has a separate department for Training & Placement. The department has developed a Corporate Resources Cell to make linkages with various industries for industrial exposure, summer training and final job placement for the students.
