Diplomate of National Board (DNB)
Diplomate of National Board or DNB is a 3-year post-graduate program that a student can pursue after MBBS. The DNB course focuses on specific medical skills. There are various specifications available for students who wish to be skilled doctors in a specific field.
There is a provision where a person who has completed their MD/MS in accordance with the Medical Council of India (MCI) and affiliated to a university recognized by the respective State Medical Council can apply for a primary DNB. But one thing that should be kept in mind is that you get to study the same discipline or branch of DNB in which you’ve completed your MD/MS.
