Lucknow University Admission 2023: Eligibility & Selection
LU University offers a wide range of courses at the UG, PG and PhD levels. Lucknow University admission to most of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET), Under Graduate Professional Entrance Test (UGPET) and Postgraduate Entrance Test PGET. The University of Lucknow admission process includes the application process, Entrance Test, announcement or merit list and fee payment. Candidates seeking admission to LU must visit the official website of the University. The step-wise admission process is given below:
Step 1: Lucknow University Application Process 2023
The University of Lucknow application process is carried out in online mode. Aspirants must fill in all the details in the application form carefully. To submit an application successfully, candidates have to pay an application fee of INR 800.
Step 2: Appear for the Entrance Test
After successful registration, Lucknow University will release the entrance test schedule separately for UG and PG courses. Registered candidates must appear for the entrance test to be eligible for LU admission.
Step 3: Announcement of Merit List
Based on candidates’ performance in the entrance test, LU will release the course-wise provisional merit lists. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list are then required to appear for the centralised counselling round.
Step 4: Fee Payment & Confirmation of Admission
After the counselling round, the University will release the seat allocation list for final admission. Selected candidates must submit the admission fee and complete the document verification process to confirm their seats.
